In 2010, La Maestra began providing vision and eye
health services at its new City Heights health center.
Even healthy persons need the health of their eyes
evaluated. Each person should see the optometrist every
one to two years whether or not they have vision problems.
The optometrist will look inside your eyes and evaluate
for conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts that can
cause vision loss in the long term.
Persons with diabetes or high blood pressure should be aware that those conditions can affect the health of their eyes and vision, and should have their eyes examined at least once a year.
The Vision Center also has a range of affordable eyewear selections. Our optician provides eyewear fitting, repair, and adjustment services. We offer excellent quality of lens materials from a local laboratory in San Diego. We also offer specialized features for lenses including: scratch protection, non-glare coating, UV protection, and Transitions. Provider: Dora Doan, OD
