Comprehensive primary care to women is provided through the organization’s Women\u2019s Health program. Services include prenatal oral care, prenatal and perinatal health education, Comprehensive primary care to women is provided through the organization\u2019s Women\u2019s Health program. Services include prenatal oral care, prenatal and perinatal health education, psychosocial care, gestational diabetes management as well as help with Medi-Cal enrollment for prenatal care and referrals for comprehensive ultrasound, fetal echocardiogram consultations, and genetic testing which are all provided at the main clinic site in City Heights.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

To improve women\u2019s health, La Maestra also offers no to low-cost mammograms, cervical cancer screenings, and HIV screenings. Through the California Cancer Detection Program, women over 40 years old who meet income eligibility requirements have access to free annual clinical breast exams, mammograms, as well as cervical cancer screenings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
