As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), 90% of La Maestra\u2019s Board of Directors are patients served by the health center and are representative of the population served in terms of demographics including race, ethnicity, and gender. The Board meets monthly to review and approve all aspects of nonprofit operations and board members are passionate about addressing social determinants of health and providing upstream, social service to all clients to improve long term health and wellness for all individuals and families.<\/em><\/h5>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
