The Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Carmela Ambrosio, has more than sixteen years of experience practicing general dentistry. Dr. Ambrosio joined La Maestra in 2012 after years of practicing general dentistry in underserved communities throughout San Diego County and the Philippines. Dr. Ambrosio graduated from the University of the Philippines, Manila in 2000. Currently, she serves as a Site Clinical Director for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone Hospitals and an off-site Assistant Professor at University of Southern California and Western University College of Dentistry.
