La Maestra Family Clinic, Inc., doing business as (dba) La Maestra Community Health Centers is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), Community Benefit organization, and a recognized Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The organization was the first health center in San Diego to receive 330(i) funding to serve public housing residents. In 2007, La Maestra received 330(e) funding to serve low-income and uninsured populations, and 330(h) funding in 2013 to serve homeless individuals and their families. For more than 30 years here at La Maestra, we are a family. We are a team full of passionate and skilled individuals that are dedicated to improving health outcomes in San Diego County, regardless of one’s ability to pay.
