Jeffrey Neumann was hired as the CFO in 2017.  Before joining La Maestra, Jeff served as the Controller at Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Seattle, Washington for 7 years. In this role he was responsible for the financial operations of a FQHC with 90+ sites across western Washington and more than 2,500 employees.  In this role he was also deeply involved in tax-exempt bond financing and affordable housing development.  Prior to this, Jeff spent over 20 years focused on Medicare and Medicaid cost reimbursement and long-term care services.   This experience provides Jeff a unique understanding of the financial and operational needs of primary medical care, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, and substance abuse services plus other integrated programs including nutrition, health education, maternal support services, chiropractic, WIC and inpatient substance abuse treatment. All of which are valuable in helping to guide a successful health center.  Mr. Neumann graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Accounting.
